1. QUEENSLAND BERRIES CABOOLTURE
Queensland Berries is based in Caboolture just 45 Minutes from the Brisbane CDB and is one of the largest Produces of Strawberries, raspberries and Blackberries in the Queensland region. The farm specializes in the growing of Driscolls Strawberries During the Queensland Winter Season. During the Strawberry Winter Season the farm plants around 3.2 Million Strawberries of various varieties. Planting on this farm commences in Early march.
During the planting season the farm requires around 150 Strawberry Planters. From April until October the farm requires approximately 150 Strawberry Pickers, 100 Strawberry packers and around 40 Farm hands conducting various farm duties including Quality Checkers, Box Boys, Shed Hands, farm hands irrigation management, tractor drivers and sprayers the season for strawberries runs from April until November. Employees in farm hand positions are expected to work the duration of the season.
In Addition to Strawberries the farm also harvests raspberries and Blackberries throughout the year, at its peak we require 80 Raspberry pickers and the peak season is usually February until June for these crops
